Celebrations

This week marked a big celebration in my moms life! She turned the big 50 on Friday. So what was I to do?? Well of course I had to throw her a surprise party! So the planning began about a month ago. I invited all of her friends and family to come celebrate with her. My little brother flew in from AZ, my cusion flew in from MO, and friends and family all gathered together. It is tough keeping such a big thing from my mom. She is very knowing when things are going on. So it was my job to keep her not knowing. I made a reservations at puerto vallarta in Port Orchard, and it was a success! She suspected something was going on when we walked into the restaurant, but once she walked around the corner she was surprised to see so many familiar faces. Scanning the room she quickly noticed my brother, Val (her dear friend from nursing school), my cusion Jeff, and many more! I am so proud of my mom and everything she has done form me and my family. She is an amazing woman and I could not ask for a better mom! So happy 50th mom! I love you very much!
